Hang on to each other.
Sometimes it's better to use just a few colors in a piece. Simplicity is the key to an eye-catching image. I'm into graffiti, not illegally, I just like to use some of the techniques and mistakes and turn them into my own art, digitally and on canvas.
Also it can be really tempting to use filters in Photoshop, which I hate, and it just goes to show that it can be used in a really basic way to get, how you rightly put it, a striking image.
